24/7 Security
Security is important to us. Our first layer of defense is an electronic gate only accessible with a code from storage customers. Our second layer includes 24/7 HD Video surveillance on all parts of the property. The final layer of security on each unit includes a plated electronic keyless deadbolt system to ensure safety and security.

FAQ
What are the access hours?
All our renters will have 24/7 access to their rental property.
Is the storage unit occupied with an AC unit?
Air conditioning units are available to install upon request at additional cost.
Do I have to maintain my own insurance?
Insurance is the occupants responsibility. The Storage facility does not provide any insurance coverage for your stored items. All stored vehicles, RV’s, watercraft or trailers must supply proof of insurance coverage.
You may carry your own insurance (check your homeowner’s or renter’s policy, as you maybe already covered) or apply for insurance coverage from a company that specializes in self-storage insurance.
Rentals insurance is required with a $500,000 liability binder. The liability binder must show Badboyscustom Storage listed as a loss payee.
Who pays for utilities to individual units?
Each unit is individually metered and equipped with an alarm & security system. Tenants are require to transfer their unit into their name with Wright Hennepin electric, 763-477-3000.
Do you take reservations on units?
While it is not always necessary, during certain times of the year we have limited availability of storage units. Reservations reserve the unit for a 7 calendar day period only. After the 7-day reservation period, your reservation expires if you have not entered into a lease agreement. If you are out-of-town and need to be assured of a storage unit on a specific date, reservations are a wise choice. Contact our storage lease specialist for details.
What type of payment do you accept?
We accept ACH Bank transfers, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, cash or checks. Autopay bank transfer is also available. You will need to provide your bank name, routing number, and account number to set this up.
Are there any association fees?
There are no association fees, maintenance fees, insurance fees, or taxes.
Can I live in my unit?
No. These units are strictly for the storage of goods and property. The county ordinances and zoning laws forbid this.
What kind of security is used on site?
The facility has 24/7 video surveillance. This includes automatic lighting of the perimeter. Keypad entry is installed for each individual self-storage unit. As a secured facility; there is only one entrance which includes a coded gate that only tenants will receive the code.
Are there restrictions on my use of the unit?
Yes, there are restrictions on noise levels, pollutants, fire hazards, outside storage and overnight parking. Businesses can store inventory and supplies in the units but they cannot conduct business out of them. Contact our storage lease specialist for details.
What are restrictions when modifying my unit?
As long as the structural integrity of the building is not altered you can modify the unit to suite your needs. This includes no drilling into the walls, ceiling, or floor of any unit.
